Charles Sreca Injured In New Hartford, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, August 26 around 9:30 PM in New Hartford, New York. Charles Sreca was seriously injured when he was involved in a crash between an on-duty ambulance and a minivan on Route Five E. The ambulance was traveling with its emergency lights on and siren engaged, when a Chrysler minivan failed to yield during a left turn into a gas station, causing a wreck. Charles, the driver of the ambulance was injured in the crash and transported to Saint Elizabeth’s hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was cited for failure to yield the right of way, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. No other information has been made available as the crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
