Charles Voncannon Killed In Winston Salem, NC Accident

Motorcycle wreck at Old Walkerton and Davis Road

Tragic accident that occurred on June 25th in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Charles Voncannon was killed when the driver of a motor vehicle failed to yield to his motorcycle at Old Walkerton Road and Davis Road. Officers say the two vehicles crashed when the driver of the GMC failed to yield to the motorcycle. Sadly, Voncannon was declared dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the accident is asked to call the Winston-Salem Police Department at 336-773-7700. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
