Chelsea Cook has been identified as one of the five victims in a devastating wrong-way crash near Marine Creek Reservoir on Northwest Loop 820. Cook was a passenger in a pickup truck that was struck by a Ford Focus traveling the wrong direction in the westbound lanes. The Ford, later found ablaze by responding officers, was carrying a family of four—all of whom perished in the incident. 33-year-old Cook unfortunately did not survive the crash. Authorities are still investigating to determine why the Ford was traveling the wrong way, and it remains unclear who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.
