Christopher McQuay died in a motor vehicle crash along Interstate 270. A 2001 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was stopped in the third lane of traffic along northbound Interstate 270 due to mechanical failure. The driver of a 2009 Mazda CX9 failed to keep a proper lookout, and the vehicle collided with the rear of the pickup. A passenger in the Chevrolet – 48-year-old Christopher, was transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation by MSHP troopers.
