Cindy Helms Killed In Columbia, MO Accident

The crash is under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 5 in Columbia, Missouri. Cindy Helms was killed in a crash between a semi truck and a U-Haul along Interstate 70 when a Freightliner Cascadia failed to maintain a lane and struck a BMW. The tractor-trailer then drove into the eastbound traffic lane, where it collided with multiple vehicles before striking a U-Haul head-on. Authorities said a fire broke out after the collision. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
