Daniel Wayne Salmon's Killed In Burke, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 17 in Burke, North Carolina. Daniel Wayne Salmons was tragically killed when his moped was struck by a vehicle on U.S. 70 that failed to reduce speed adequately. Salmons was ejected from the moped and pronounced dead at the scene. Charges are pending upon completion of the State Patrol's investigation and consultation with the District Attorney’s office. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
