Derek Burnette Killed In Panama City, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on June 28 in Panama City, Florida. Derek Lane Burnette died in a pedestrian accident on U.S. Route 231. Derek was found in a ditch at the intersection of Ormond Avenue and U.S Route 231. He is believed to have been struck by a Ford F-250. Burnette worked in construction with his father and was an 8-and-under softball coach for his daughter's team, according to his obituary, a man who will leave a lasting impact on his family.
