Tragic accident that occurred on March 3 in Morehead City, North Carolina. Dr. Nathaniel Leonard suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 70 near Arby's and the Crystal Coast Plaza. Morehead City Police attempted to stop the suspect Cody Schulz, who was recklessly driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Cody ran a red light, resulting in a collision with the Leonard family's 2020 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab as they were exiting the Crystal Coast Plaza. Dr. Leonard remains in serious condition. Schulz was charged with five felonies, five misdemeanors, and four infractions. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
