Edna Alvarez Killed In Lucas, OH Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 20 in Lucas, Ohio. Edna Alvarez died in a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 80. A 2014 Chrysler Town & Country, driven by a 45-year-old Toledo man, was westbound when the vehicle traveled off the roadway. It went down an embankment and overturned after striking a ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its side up against a fence. Both driver and passenger Edna were pronounced dead at the scene. OSHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
