Floyd Emerson Injured In Cumberland, IL Accident

Tractor trailer crash on I-70

Tragic accident that occurred on February 23rd in Cumberland, Illinois. Floyd Emerson was injured when his semi-truck collided with a tractor-trailer that crashed on Interstate 70. The crash occurred when a Kenworth truck-tractor semi-trailer combination operated by 51-year-old Milton Higgs left the highway, overcorrected, and then overturned in the roadway, blocking both eastbound lanes. Emerson’s rig struck the Kenworth and he was seriously injured in the collision. Emerson was taken to a hospital for treatment. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
