Francisco Gonzalez Killed In Los Angeles, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 24 in Los Angeles, California. Francisco Gonzalez died after he was struck and dragged by a van while riding his bicycle near 115th Street. He became lodged beneath the vehicle as it continued southbound. The driver turned down several streets before Gonzales broke free nearly a mile from the initial crash. The medical examiner's office said Gonzales was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was arrested in Compton. He was booked into the Los Angeles County Jail on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter, the sheriff's department reported. His bail was set at $50,000.
