Gianna Lamb Killed In Plainfield, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 17 in Plainfield, Illinois. Gianna Lamb lost her life after being struck by a motor vehicle on Route 59 when a 2009 Nissan Rogue was stopped at a stop sign at Riverwalk Court and was struck by a southbound 2004 Toyota Rav4 on the highway. A passenger in the Nissan, 12-year-old Gianna Lamb, exited the vehicle and was struck by a northbound 2012 Ford Fusion. Gianna suffered critical injuries and was transported to a Children's Hospital where she passed away. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
