Heath Murphy Injured In Logan, OH Accident

Two vehicle accident along US Route 68 and County Road 57

Tragic accident that occurred on March 4 in Logan, Ohio. Heath Murphy was injured in a two-vehicle accident with a Logan County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) vehicle. The accident occurred when the Ford Explorer that Murphy was a passenger in was struck at the intersection of U.S. Route 68 near County Road 57. The deputy was in emergency response, with their overhead lights activated, and attempted to pass on the left of the Ford Explorer. The force of the collision caused the SUV that Murphy was in to go off the road and overturn. Murphy was taken to Grant Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
