Jade Upshaw Killed In Rocky Hill, CT Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 4 in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Jada Upshaw was fatally injured in a three-vehicle accident involving an alleged impaired motorist along Interstate 91. A 2011 BMW traveling in an adjacent lane struck the Nissan, which then overturned, and collided with a 2020 GMC. Upshaw was rushed to Hartford Hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries. The 23-year-old man driving the BMW was arrested and charged with DUI. Officials continue to investigate the incident and say additional charges are possible. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
