James Brusenhan lost his life after being struck by two- hit-and-run drivers while crossing East Broad Street, at Richmond Woods Drive. He was thrown into the center turning lane by the impact as the driver fled. He attempted to crawl to safety when he was struck in the eastbound lane by what a witness identified as a Toyota RAV4 SUV. The driver of the second vehicle also fled from the scene. Police believe the Toyota to be a model year between 2016 and 2018. Authorities pronounced Brusenhan dead at the scene. Witnesses or those with information are urged to contact Columbus police.
