James Johnson Killed In Santa Cruz, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 11 in Santa Cruz, California. James Johnson lost his life when his wheelchair was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the street. The vehicle fled from the scene and was abandoned nearby. Johnson was transported to Natividad Medical Center where he succumbed to injuries. Police later located the suspect at her home, 39-year-old Jessica Thompson. She faces charges of felony DUI, vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run.
