James Thompson Killed In Chicago, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on March 25 in Chicago, Illinois. James Thompson lost his life when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing at the intersection of West Washington Boulevard and North Green Street. Officers said that an eastbound vehicle ran a stop sign and continued without stopping. Thompson was transported to Stroger Hospital with critical injuries and was pronounced dead there. Chicago police believe the suspect vehicle to be a four-door 2006-2010 Mercedes-Benz sedan with damage to the front end and passenger side-view mirror.
