Wetzel was riding a Harley Davidson when he slowed to turn right and a freightliner Cascadia swerved right and went into the paved berm, hitting the motorcycle. Wetzel was transported to OhioHealth Marion General Hospital and later transferred via helicopter to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus with unspecified injuries.
