Jayden Anna Hughes Killed In Polk, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 23 in Polk, Iowa. Jayden Anna Hughes was tragically killed in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of NE 44th Street and NW 126th. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene and found one vehicle in the southeast ditch and the other in a wooded tree line on the south side of the road. The vehicle in the tree line was engulfed in flames. Hughes was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
