John Brehm died in a crash involving an all-terrain vehicle in the vicinity of 196 Rio Dam Road. A single four-wheel ATV crashed into a deer in the roadway, causing the quad to leave the pavement and strike a tree. As a result, two occupants of the ATV were ejected and suffered fatal injuries.
