John Jones Injured In Macon, GA Accident

DUI wreck along I-16

Tragic accident that occurred on May 16th in Macon, Georgia. John Jones is in critical condition after an allegedly impaired driver crashed into his vehicle on Interstate 16. 41-year-old Jenna Scheidegger drove a Chevy Silverado west in an eastbound lane when she crashed head-on into an eastbound Chevy Malibu driven by Jones. Jones was rushed to Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center in critical condition. Scheidegger, who was uninjured, is charged with serious injury by motor vehicle, traffic offense, driving under the influence, and misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement officers. She remains in custody at the Bibb County Jail. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
