Tragic accident that occurred on February 5 in San Antonio, Texas. Johnny Ruiz Jr. was arrested after a hit-and-run crash that critically injured a pedestrian in the 6500 block of Old Highway 90. The man was critically injured and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The vehicle that struck the man was gone when officers arrived, but debris – including a license plate – was left behind at the scene. Investigators located the suspect vehicle, and arrested the alleged driver, 37-year-old Johnny Ruiz Jr.. Ruiz is facing a charge of collision involving serious bodily injury.
