Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, September 18 in San Diego, California. Jonathan Sepulveda was tragically killed after being struck by a vehicle while riding his scooter on Pershing Drive. The major connector has been awaiting installation of protected bike lanes and a sidewalk. The victim was riding an electric scooter feet behind his sister and brother-in-law when the teenage driver of a vehicle struck him from behind. This is not the first accident on this road, raising many questions regarding the safety of vulnerable road users. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
