Jose Estrada Injured In Ventura, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 21 in Ventura, California. Jose Estrada suffered major injuries when his bicycle was struck by a hit-and-run bus driver on Telegraph Road, near Joanne Avenue. The handlebars of his bicycle were hit by the bus as it passed him, knocking him to the ground where he was then run over by the bus' rear wheels. The bus continued without stopping. A driver behind the bus stopped to help Estrada, who had serious injuries. He was subsequently transported to an area hospital for treatment. Investigators were later able to locate the bus driver and arrested him on suspicion of felony hit-and-run. He was booked into the Ventura County Jail. The crash remains under investigation.
