Joseph Gregory Flanagan was working in a construction zone on Interstate 35 when he was struck and injured by a vehicle that tried to flee the scene. A GMC Acadia was traveling northbound in a construction zone when it struck the worker who was in the right hand shoulder. The GMC driver did not stop after the collision but was later apprehended on I-35 near Moose Lake. An investigation into the accident is underway.
