Joshuia Harness died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in the 4400 block of Buffalo Gap Road. A 2013 Ford Edge, driven by a 71-year-old woman, was traveling north and attempted to turn left into a private drive and collided with the Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Harness sustained life-threatening injuries and was initially taken to Hendrick Medical Center in critical condition. He was later airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he succumbed to his injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
