Jovanni Balcazar Injured In Cobb, GA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 17 in Cobb, Georgia. Jovanni Balcazar was injured after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 285 East at the ramp to Interstate 75 North. A gray 2003 Dodge Ram was approaching the "bad curve" ramp leading onto I-75 North when a Ram tow truck and a Chevrolet pickup truck, both unoccupied, were parked on the right shoulder of the ramp. As the Dodge sped onto the ramp at a high rate of speed, it slammed into two people who were on the shoulder of the ramp, police said. One of the people hit by the Dodge, 23-year-old Jovanni Balcazar, was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in stable condition. An investigation is ongoing.
