Karen Cooper Killed In San Diego, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 26 in San Diego, California. Karen Lee Cooper was tragically killed when the SUV that she was a passenger in was struck by a bag of concrete that fell from an overpass. Cooper was traveling in a Mercedes-Benz when a pickup truck carrying a load of concrete bags overturned and concrete bags fell from the overcrossing to the eastbound lanes. One of the bags struck the windshield of the Mercedes. Sadly, Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
