Kayla Wetherell Killed In Spokane Valley, WA Accident

 Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, January 15th in Spokane Valley, Washington. Kayla Wetherell was tragically struck and killed by a car driven by Michael J. Schuk, Jr. Preliminary info showed that Schuk was driving a vehicle east on East Sprague Avenue when he struck the pedestrian, who reportedly walked from the south side. The impact sent the victim flying in the air, finally landing on the street, near the intersection with South Chronicle Road. After a breath test sample he was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail for suspicion of vehicular homicide. Immediately after the crash, Wetherell was transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, where she tragically later died. The crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not released additional information about the case. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
