Khailyn Garcia Killed In Pomona, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on January 1 in Pomona, California. Khailyn Garcia lost her life when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver near Garey Avenue and Center Street. The mother of a 6-month-old boy, was out at a New Year's celebration with her boyfriend who is a DJ. As the couple returned after the event, they pulled over so that Garcia could get some fresh air. When Garcia stepped out of the vehicle, she was struck by a vehicle that immediately fled from the scene. Garcia was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to injuries. Pomona police believe the suspect vehicle to be a late-model white Mercedes-Benz. The accident remains under investigation as detectives look for the suspect.
