Tragic accident that occurred on October 8 in Sequim, Washington. Lawrence Scherer was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident on Highway 101. The driver of the truck fled the scene after the accident. Scherer was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition. A day after the incident, the driver of the truck turned himself in. He faces felony hit-and-run charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
