Lisa Park-Ortiz Injured In Whittier, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 30 in Whittier, California. Lisa Park-Ortiz was seriously injured when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 1300 block of Whittier Boulevard. The driver immediately fled from the scene. Park-Ortiz suffered a large gash on her head, multiple fractures and breaks of the pelvis, and a fractured vertebrae, according to a fundraiser page. Witnesses are urged to call the department. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
