Lisa Wertz Killed In Eastanollee GA Accident December

Four-Vehicle Crash Near Toccoa

Stephens County Fatal Accident


Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, December 7 at around 6:24 PM in eastanollee, Georgia. 48-year-old Lisa Wertz was fatally injured when the car she was riding in was struck multiple times following a tragic four vehicle accident. Kathy Loggins the driver of the vehicle remains in very serious condition in Greenville Hospital. Logins was driving on South Highway 17 when she failed to yield while turning left. A Honda pilot driven by Kyle Weir was traveling north, and struck the side of the Kia. The Kia came to a rest on the roadway, and then was hit head on by holly black, causing the Kia to travel and strike a Chevrolet Tahoe. Ms. Wertz was life flighted to N. East Georgia Medical Center where she died a short time later. The other driver suffered from minor to no injuries ,and were treated at local medical centers.
