Maria Martinez Killed In Odessa, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on July 12 in Odessa, Texas. Maria Belmares Martinez died when the vehicle she was a passenger in crashed into a school building at the intersection of 22nd Street and Golder Avenue. A 2018 Nissan Altima was traveling east at a high speed, when the driver lost control and struck a street sign and a fence at Bowie Middle School. The vehicle then crashed into the west side of the school building. The passenger, 41-year-old Maria, was pronounced dead at the scene. Speed and alcohol were suspected in the crash.
