Mark Hughes Killed In Davidson, NC Accident

Rear end accident on I-85

Tragic accident that occurred on May 2 in Davidson, North Carolina. Mark Hughes sadly died in a rear-end accident on Interstate 85. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Hughes was a passenger in a 1997 Ford that was struck from behind by a 2002 Ford pickup truck which caused the ’97 Ford to veer off the road, overturn and hit a tree. Tragically, Hughes, and the driver of the ‘97 Ford died at the scene. The driver of the Ford pickup was charged with two counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, driving while license revoked and failure to reduce speed. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
