Motorcycle crash on Gumtree Road

Rragic accident that occurred on July 15 in Wallburg, North Carolina. Marty Higgins lost his life when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Gumtree Road. A driver attempted to turn left onto Route 109 and turned in front of a motorcycle. The vehicles collided as a result. The motorcyclist, Marty Higgins, was pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver of the truck was charged with misdemeanor death and failure to yield. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
