Plane accident at Wright Brothers Airport

Tragic accident that occurred on September 28 in Outer Banks, North Carolina. Matthew Arthur Fassnacht sadly died in a single-engine plane crash in a wooded area at the Wright Brothers National Memorial’s First Flight Airport. Witnesses told officials the pilot had been trying to land at the time of the crash. Six people were killed, including a child. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
