Maurice Washington Killed In Pickens, SC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, May 9 at around 2:20 PM in Pickens, South Carolina. Maurice Washington was tragically killed when he was struck by a driver who failed to yield to his motorcycle on Highway 129 near Turner Hill Road. The driver of a Nissan Sedan turned eastbound in front of Washington’s Suzuki motorcycle, causing a collision. Washington was ejected from the motorcycle and tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
