Two vehicle accident on US Highway 69

Tragic accident that occurred on March 17 in Altamont, Missouri. Melissa Lee was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 69 when the driver of a Subary failed to yield for a stop sign and collided with a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck. The pickup driver, 37-year-old Melissa Lee, was seriously injured and was transported to Liberty Hospital. A 13-year-old boy in her vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center. MSHP continues to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
