Michael Jay Killed In New Bern, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on September 12 in New Bern, North Carolina. Michael Jay lost his life when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver under the South Glenburnie Road overpass along U.S. Route 70. The vehicle that struck Jay was gone before police arrived. Jay was pronounced dead at the scene. The department is asking anyone with information to call. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
