Michael Lopez Killed In Riverdale, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday July 27th at about 1:45 PM in Riverdale, Iowa. Michael Lopez was tragically killed after his motorcycle struck a vehicle that turned in front of him in the 4400 block of State Street. A Nissan Rogue driven by 47-year-old Ulzime Mustafa pulled out of a parking lot in front of Lopez’s Kawasaki. Lopez, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and  rushed to Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
