Michael Ratton Killed In Winter Haven, FL Accident

Hit and run along Old Eagle Lake Rd and US Highway 17

Tragic accident that occurred on February 8 in Winter Haven, Florida. Michael Ratton was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident while riding an adult tricycle near Old Eagle Lake Road and U.S. Highway 17. Sadly, Ratton died at the scene. The driver that hit him fled the scene after the accident. The Sheriff’s Office believes that the suspect’s vehicle may be commercial but does not have any more identifiable information available.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
