Michael Spillars Killed In Denver, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, March 26 at around 1:10 PM in Denver, North Carolina. Michael Spillars was tragically killed in a head on crash on Campground Road. Spillars was the passenger of a GMC driven by Boyce Moore, when it was struck by a westbound Chevy Avalanche driven by Alexander Hickman. Hickman crossed the centerline near Pine Ridge Drive and struck the GMC. Mr. Spillars was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, who have indicated that Mr. Hickman was driving recklessly at the time of the crash.
