Misty Shook Killed In Iredell, NC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 1 in Iredell, North Carolina. Misty Leigh Shook lost her life in a multiple-vehicle crash along Interstate 77 when a driver failed to adequately reduce speed and collided with a disabled 2016 Toyota Scion. The driver of the Scion, 47-year-old Misty Leigh Shook of Granite Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver is suspected of being under the influence and was charged with driving while impaired, failure to reduce speed, as well as other traffic violations. The crash remains under investigation by the state highway patrol. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
