Monica Hong Killed In Franklin, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on July 6 in Franklin, Florida. Monica Hong and her husband was tragically struck and killed by a pickup truck while crossing Highway 98. Hong was pronounced dead at the hospital. The couple was from Tallahassee and visiting Steigner's parents.  According to Hong’s obituary, she met Steigner in 2009 while teaching English in Korea.  A GoFundMe has been created to support the family, while the accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
