Olivia Pugh Killed In Kennesaw, GA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 8 in Kennesaw, Georgia. Olivia Pugh senselessly lost her life when she was struck by an alleged drunken driver while crossing the street on Ben King Road. The vehicle struck a pedestrian crossing the road with a group of juveniles in a designated crosswalk. The victim was thrown into a nearby wooded area from the impact. Pugh was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with critical injuries. She later passed away at the hospital. The driver was suspected of being intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was charged with DUI Alcohol – less safe, obstruction, serious injury by vehicle, and failure to yield to a pedestrian. Additional charges of vehicular homicide and failure to yield to a pedestrian were later added. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
