Hit and run in the 400 block of Triangle Park

Tragic accident that occurred on July 14 in Durham, North Carolina. Oscar Avila Santos died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver at Research Triangle Park in a parking lot in the 4000 block. Witnesses reported several vehicles speeding off after the collision. DCSO said there might have been a car meet-up at the lot and Santos was hit by one of the vehicles. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
