Patsy Ward Killed In Melbourne, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 25 in Melbourne, Florida. Patsy Ward lost her life in what police said was a drug or alcohol-related crash on U.S. Route 1. A Nissan Titan pickup truck, driven by 61-year-old Darrell Ramsey was traveling north at a high rate of speed. Ramsey lost control of the vehicle while changing lanes and crossed into the oncoming lanes where it struck a 2021 Toyota RAV4 head-on. Patsy was taken to the hospital where she sadly died. “Drugs and/or alcohol are believed to be a factor in this crash,” police said. The collision remains under investigation.
