Driver drove through intersection of Adams and Hill avenues

Accident remains under investigation
Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, December 23 at around 5:30 PM in Fresno, California. Paulino Ybarra was injured along with a passenger in his vehicle when they collided with a driver that drove through a Fresno county intersection without stopping. 81-year-old Gene Butler drove through the intersection of Adams and Hill Avenue resulting in his vehicle striking the right front side of Ybarras Chevy. His Chevy hit a dry drainage ditch, overturned, and came to rest on its side. Him and his passenger were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. Butler was killed in the crash. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families.
