Wrong way crash on the Hugh Thomas Bridge

Tragic accident that occurred on November 29 in Northport, Alabama. A juvenile was tragically killed and two adults were critically injured in an accident with an alleged impaired driver, Rachael Robinson. The unidentified victims were traveling in a vehicle struck head-on by a wrong-way driver on the Hugh Thomas Bridge. The wrong-way driver, Rachael Robinson was immediately suspected of being under the influence. She was charged with manslaughter, two counts of first-degree assault, and DUI.
